   ATTORNEY GENERAL RENO TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE AT NOON TODAY


     WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Attorney General Janet Reno will hold a
news conference today in Washington, D.C. at noon to announce an
enforcement action in the Department's investigation into the
food and feed additives industries.
 
     Reporters interested in attending the news conference should
enter the Department of Justice at the center entrance on
Constitution Ave., between Ninth and Tenth Streets.  The news
conference will be held on the first floor in conference room B.

     Camera and audio set up may begin at 11:00 a.m.  If you have

     Joel I. Klein, Acting Assistant Attorney General of the
Antitrust Division, Gary R. Spratling, Deputy Assistant Attorney
General for the Division's Criminal Enforcement, U.S. Attorney
James B. Burns of the Northern District of Illinois, and FBI
Assistant Director William Esposito will also participate in the
news conference.
