JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OFFICALS AND TRIBAL LEADERS TO OPEN TRIBAL LEADERS LISTENING CONFERENCE
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Robert Flores, Administrator of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP); Tracy Toulou, Director of the Office of Tribal Justice; and tribal leaders will appear at the opening session of the Tribal Leaders Listening Conference, on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. EDT. The conference, which will run from September 27-28, and is sponsored by OJJDP, will enable tribal community members to acquaint federal officials with the challenges facing organizations that work with Indian youth, as well as to tell them about effective regional programs and practices that serve at-risk young people.
