ABSTRACT: The OPA Network is an office automation network that processes unclassified information in the course of normal day-to-day operations. The OPA Network maintains system administration records related to network operation.
PURPOSE: The OPA Network provides a standard architecture and basic infrastructure for a mix of office automation tools, including e-mail, word processing and database applications. The OPA Network houses the Executive Clemency Case Files and Tracking System which is critical to OPA operations.
ACCESS CONSTRAINTS: The OPA Network is protected from unauthorized access through administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.
USE CONSTRAINTS: Only OPA employees have access to the OPA Network.
OPA employees are restricted to the system privileges necessary to perform assigned tasks.
AGENCY PROGRAM: The OPA Network is a general-purpose computing resource that OPA relies on to successfully fulfill its mission in the areas of clemency case management, correspondence management, office administration, and other day-to-day operational activities.
SOURCES OF DATA: The OPA Network collects statistical operations performance data from its servers, gateways and similar network components.
