Civilian Complaints and Agency Links

The U.S. Attorney's Office is primarily a litigating office, not an investigative office.  Nevertheless, most complaints that are submitted to our office request that we investigate some allegation.  Our typical practice is to refer such complaints to an appropriate investigating agency or to return the complaint to the sender with instructions that it be transmitted to an appropriate investigative agency.
