Criminal

The Criminal Division of the United States Attorney's Office has primary responsibility for the enforcement and prosecution of more than 900 federal criminal statutes. Suspected violations of federal law are investigated by federal law enforcement agencies and by state and local agencies working with federal agencies.

If you would like to report information concerning a federal crime or if you believe you have been a victim of a federal crime, please contact the federal agency that has jurisdiction over that particular crime.

For a listing of federal crimes and the agencies that investigate them, see the Department of Justice Action Center.
