The US Attorney’s Offices for the District of North Dakota and the District of South Dakota held their 17th annual “Offering Hope To Victims In The Spirit of Justice” conference in Fargo, ND, on July 17 – 18, 2012. This is the first year the conference was held it North Dakota. The three-day conference provided training to professionals who work with victims of crime in tribal communities. US Attorney Brendan V. Johnson (District of SD) who is Chairman of the Justice Department’s Native American Issues Subcommittee and US Attorney Timothy Q. Purdon (District of ND) who is the Vice-Chair participated in the opening ceremonies of the conference.
