Careers

The United States Attorney's Office for the District of the Virgin Islands has positions including Assistant United States Attorneys, law students, college and/or high school students, and a variety of professional and support staff positions.

The office is committed to equal employment opportunity. Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, membership or non-membership in an employee organization, or on the basis of personal favoritism. The office welcomes applications from persons with disabilities and will reasonably accommodate the needs of those persons.

Because of the sensitive nature of many matters handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office, all employment offers are contingent upon the completion and satisfactory adjudication of a background investigation by the Department of Justice. Selected applicants may or may not be subject to drug testing by urinalysis prior to appointment.

All support positions are advertised and must be applied for through USAjobs.gov .

All Summer Law student positions must be applied before January 31st. Current opportunities found either through Justice.gov/legal-careerers or USAjobs.gov .

Appointment is subject to background investigation, including credit, arrest, reference, and drug use inquiries. U.S. citizenship is required.
