Joseph F. Deeb was one of the youngest U.S. Attorneys to serve in West Michigan. Appointed as Acting U.S. Attorney to replace Francis T. McDonald in 1940, Deeb became the youngest U.S. Attorney in the country. When he left office in 1953, he was the longest serving U.S. Attorney in the District's history.
