VILLAGE CREEK SITE

JUSTICE DEPARTMENT AND EPA OFFICIALS TO TOUR VILLAGE CREEK SITE

BIRMINGHAM – Ignacia S. Moreno, Assistant Attorney General of the Environment and Natural Resources Division; Joyce White Vance, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama; and Gwen Keyes Fleming, Regional Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, will tour a site on Village Creek in Ensley on WEDNESDAY AT 8:20 A.M.

The tour precedes a 10 a.m. public listening session on environmental justice issues with the Justice Department and EPA officials at the East Ensley Branch of the Birmingham Public Library. Reporters and cameras are welcome on the Village Creek tour. A brief availability for questions will follow the tour.
