Support Staff

Our office employs individuals in a variety of clerical, technical, and administrative support positions. The most frequently filled jobs are Legal Assistant and Paralegal Specialist.

Applications are accepted for employment in non-attorney positions as posted by specific job vacancy announcements or public notices. Applications will only be accepted during the period of time listed in the posted vacancy announcement. Unsolicited applications will not be accepted for support positions.

Support staff vacancy announcements will be posted on the Office of Personnel Management USAJOBS website.

Qualification requirements vary for support positions and will be specified in each vacancy announcement.

Employment for all positions is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background investigation by the Department of Justice. The investigation is thorough, and includes checks with present and former employers, military records and credit bureaus. The investigation also includes verifications of tax filings and attendance at institutions of higher learning. Those who are selected are subject to drug testing by urinalysis.
