
Guilty Plea to Trafficking Counterfeit Goods
Bachir Diallo, an illegal alien from Guinea in West Africa, plead guilty to trafficking in counterfeit goods, Acting United States Attorney Eugene A. Seidel of the Southern District of Alabama announced today.
Sentencing in this case is set before United States District Judge William H. Steele in January 2010. Diallo, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment.
The case was investigated by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and the Immigration Custom Enforcement (ICE). The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Deborah Griffin.
