
Mail Robber Sentenced
United States Attorney Kenyen R. Brown announced Matrice Danielle Walker, a Mobile, Alabama resident, was sentenced on February 17, 2012 for an August 1, 2011, mail robbery which occurred in Mobile, Alabama.
Walker admitted taking a Social Security check from an authorized depository for United States Mail matter without authority and by force. He was sentenced by United States District Judge DuBose to serve 37 months imprisonment.
The case arose from an investigation by the United States Postal Inspectors in Mobile, Alabama. The case was prosecuted by United States Attorney Deborah Griffin.
