In 99 percent of the
violent assaults, homicides and other violent crimes, drugs or alcohol
play a major part. But meth is especially destructive.
And Gangs are dealing it.
Is
meth something that should go in your body? The first time use of
meth is initially associated with a very intense ‘high’, unlike anything
the user has ever experienced before. Almost immediately, the user of
meth begins to build a tolerance for the drug and requires more and more
meth to achieve the levels of the first high. Cravings for the drug are
intense and many users, after prolonged use, go on binges that last for
days, but they will ultimately crash.
Using meth results in
drug craving, unhealthy weight loss, loss of muscle tone, depression,
and extreme tooth decay. And this is just the beginning.
Prolonged use leads to
violent behavior, anxiety, confusion, insomnia, paranoia, mood
disturbances and mental delusions like the sensation of insects crawling
on or underneath the skin as the chemicals from meth are being purged
from their body.
Long term meth use
leads to respiratory problems, damage to the blood vessels in the brain,
strokes, heart and kidney damage, Meth users never
destroy just their own life, but affect those around them, such as
family, relatives, and friends. They will lie cheat, steal, and resort
to physical violence to obtain meth and will fight all around them as the
use progresses.
