PHOENIX MAN SENTENCED TO 8 YEARS IN PRISON FOR TRANSPORTATION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
PHOENIX – Clifford Dale Miller, 50, of Phoenix, Ariz., was sentenced by U.S. District Judge David G. Campbell, on April 16, 2012, to 96 months in federal prison, followed by lifetime supervised release. Miller pleaded guilty to Transportation of Child Pornography on Jan. 23, 2012.
Between Oct. 9, 2009 and May 14, 2010, Miller was chatting on-line with an undercover officer who was posing as a 13-year-old girl from Texas. During that time, Miller transported still images and video files of child pornography to the undercover officer. Miller transported a total of 62 still images and 10 video files of child pornography.
The investigation in this case was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Somervell County Sheriff’s Office, Texas. The prosecution was handled by Christina J. Reid-Moore, Assistant U.S. Attorney, District of Arizona, Phoenix.
