Indian Country Report

A large portion of the District of Arizona is Indian Country - more than any other district in the United States - and is home to one of the largest Native American populations. With guidance and encouragement from many who have long worked in and for Indian Country, we have sought to improve the way this office collaborates with Arizona’s 22 tribal governments and colleagues in law enforcement. We are proud of the progress this office has made but recognize there is more work to do. This report highlights this progress as well as some of the challenges we continue to face.

Operational Plan

The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona developed its Operations

This plan lines out seven components the District feels are essential to achieving the results sought: Communication, Investigations, Victim Advocacy, Training, Outreach, Reduction of Violence against Women and Children, and Accountability and Continuous System Reviews.
