Mark F. Green, Eastern District of Oklahoma

Mark F. Green, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of OklahomaMark F. Green, born in 1953, is a native Oklahoman, having lived his life through graduation from high school in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Green graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1971, and then attended the University of Oklahoma where he received a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1975. Green then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he graduated in December of 1977.

After graduation from law school and passing the Bar, Green joined the staff of Michael C. Turpen in the District Attorney’s Office of Muskogee County, Oklahoma. He thereafter served as Assistant United States Attorney from October 1978 through January 1983. He was in private practice in Muskogee, Oklahoma, practicing primarily in State and Federal Courts in the Eastern District of Oklahoma, through October 2010 when he was officially appointed as the United States Attorney, Eastern District of Oklahoma.

Green currently lives in Muskogee with his wife, Jan. They have two children
