April 23, 2013 - Results of Operation Gideon IV announced by U.S. Attorney Wagner, ATF Special Agent in Charge Joseph M. Riehl, Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones, and San Joaquin County District Attorney James P. Willett. The Operation targeted violent crime in the Stockton area. Also attending are San Joaquin County Sheriff Steve Moore, Modesto Police Chief Galen Carroll, and California Highway Patrol Area Commander Rob Patrick. |

July 17, 2012 - U.S. Attorney Wagner is joined by the Moonlight Fire Prosecution Team, (Left to Right) USFS Regional Forester Randy Moore, AUSA Richard Elias, AUSA Glen Dorgan, Affirmative Civil Litigation Chief Kelli Taylor and USFS Special Agent In Charge Scott Harris, to announce the settlement of the Moonlight Fire Lawsuit. At an estimated value of at least $122,500,000, the settlement is the largest recovery ever received by the United States for damages caused by a forest fire |

September 18, 2012 - United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner, Kathleen Tighe, Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Education Office of Inspector General, and enforcement officials from Inspector General Tighe’s Office announce the indictment of 21 individuals charged with participating in federal student aid fraud schemes at 15 schools throughout California |

U.S. Attorney Wagner welcomes attendees to the 2012 Teen Prescription Drug Abuse Summit, coordinated by the United States Attorney’s Office. The Summit, which was held on September 20, 2012, drew over 200 representatives from schools, non-profit organizations and public agencies from across the state to discuss this growing epidemic. |

On Tuesday, August 2nd, communities throughout the country celebrated their neighborhoods on National Night Out. This is event that occurs once a year and it champions local efforts to take back our communities from the clutches of criminals. |

The FBI brought it’s Evidence Response Team folks to entertain the kids, and the Marshal Service showed up enmass, bringing with them our very own Bomb dog. |
