NORWALK MAN SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS David B. Fein, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that ANTHONY HOLLEY, also known as “BG,” 31, of Monterey Place, Norwalk, was sentenced today by Senior United States District Judge Ellen Bree Burns in New Haven to 60 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for possessing with intent to distribute narcotics. According to court documents and statements made in court, on December 21, 2010, HOLLEY was arrested at his Norwalk residence. On that date, law enforcement officers recovered approximately 75 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 10 grams of powder cocaine, a scale used for weighing narcotics and $581 in U.S. currency. On April 8, 2011, HOLLEY pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base (“crack cocaine”). HOLLEY has been detained since his arrest. This matter was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Norwalk Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tracy Lee Dayton. | |
