Adams Morgan Day Fest
Supervising Community Outreach Specialist Sylvia Garza and Assistant U.S. Attorney Louis Ramos joins the 3rd District in celebrating the 6th Annual Adams Morgan Day Fest. The U.S. Attorney's Office is dedicated to working with residents to solve problems to improve the quality of life for all residents of the District of Columbia.

Project LEAD
Project Safe Neighborhoods Coordinator Dawn Kelly Mobley is pictured at the J.C. Nalle Elementary School, where she teaches Project LEAD (Legal Enrichment and Decision Making.) The U.S. Attorney's Office staff team up to teach an interactive curriculum for fifth grade students throughout the District of Columbia. Currently, Project Lead is taugh in nineteen classrooms.
First District Police Mini-Station
MPD PSA Lieutenant Butler and Dr. Judy Farmer of the Refuge of Hope Center are pictured at the grand opening of a First District Police Mini-Station. The U.S. Attorney's Office Community Prosecution initiative supports the efforts of non-profit and community-based organizations in an effort to strengthen neighborhoods and build safer communities.

Robbery Meeting
Community Prosecutors meet regularly with members of the law enforcement community to discuss recent crime trends and specific cases relating to robberies, burglaries and auto thefts. The purpose of these meetings is to promote intelligence sharing between the detectives and prosecutors in each of the seven police districts within the District of Columbia and police personnel in other federal agencies and cross-border police departments.

First District Community Prosecutor Diane Lucas answers questions from residents of Sursum Corda about community issues and criminal prosecution initiatives. Community Prosecutors regularly receive questions from community members about crime in the District.
