Community Prosecutors meet regularly with members of the law
enforcement community to discuss recent crime trends and specific
cases relating to robberies, burglaries and auto thefts. The
purpose of these meetings is to promote intelligence sharing
between the detectives and prosecutors in each of the seven
police districts within the District of Columbia and police
personnel in other federal agencies and cross-border police
departments. |

First District Community Prosecutor Diane Lucas answers questions
from residents of Sursum Corda about community issues and criminal
prosecution initiatives. Community Prosecutors regularly receive
questions from community members about crime in the District. |
