Non-Attorney/Support Positions
Support position vacancies are listed on our Job Information Line, which you can access 24 hours a day on (202) 514-7324. You can also obtain copies of our vacancy announcements through the Office of Personnel Management's web site which is www.usajobs.opm.gov. First, you will need to review the list of vacancy announcements and decide which jobs you are interested in, and follow the instructions given. You may apply for most jobs with a resume, the Optional Application for Federal Employment (OF-612), or any other written format you choose.

Information on vacancies specifically for this Office are also available on our support position employment hot line which is (202) 514-7324. Applicants are also encouraged to visit the Personnel Office to review a complete listing of vacancy announcements posted on bulletin boards in room 5228-A.

TRAINING PROGRAM
The United States Attorney's Office offers a substantial training program for the support staff. New employees attend a one-day Employee Orientation program. This program is followed by a series of substantive training programs in a variety of areas such as policies and procedures of the Office's Divisions, and communications skills and professionalism in interacting with public, including crime victims and witnesses.
