Financial Litigation Assistance Program
|
The Financial Litigation Assistance Program is a cooperative
program established by the Financial Litigation Staff in 1987. The program
is designed to assist United States Attorneys' offices facing a serious debt
collection problem by providing the assistance of experienced Financial
Litigation Unit personnel from another district for a maximum of two
weeks.
A district needing temporary assistance should notify the Deputy
Director with the type of assistance needed. The Financial Litigation Staff
maintains a roster of available persons and will coordinate placement of the
volunteer.
