audit
work of numerous federal and state law enforcement agencies committed to
addressing health care fraud, each with different experience, expertise and
program knowledge. This includes the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a
variety of agencies dedicated to specific health care programs including,
but not
limited to, the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector
General (Medicare/Medicaid); the Medicaid Fraud Control Units
(Medicaid/patient
abuse); Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS)(Civilian Health and
Medical
Program of the Uniformed Services -- CHAMPUS); and the Office of Personnel
Management (Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan -- FEHBP).
