S Visa Program—Reporting Requirements

While in an S nonimmigrant status, the alien must report regularly to the supervising law enforcement agency, 8 U.S.C. § 1184(k)(4), and may obtain work authorization. The supervising law enforcement agency must also report regularly to the Criminal Division's Office of Enforcement Operations (specifically the Policy and Statutory Enforcement Unit) and to the Department of Homeland Security concerning the alien.
