Human Resources Academy: USERRA Training for USAO's
The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 ("USERRA"), 38 U.S.C. §§ 4301-4334 protects veterans and Reserve component members from employment discrimination and provides reemployment rights with a pre-service employer following qualifying military service. This training is mandatory (reference 38 U.S.C. § 4335) for all supervisors and managers, as well as Human Resources staffs and provides information on supervisor and employee rights responsibilities under USERRA. Employees in the National Guard and Reserve will also benefit from watching this program.
