Welcome

The Department of Justice currently operates a nationwide training center in Columbia, South Carolina. EOUSA trains federal prosecutors, civil litigators, and others at the National Advocacy Center (NAC), located on the campus of the University of South Carolina (USC). EOUSA is expanding its facilities in Columbia to accomplish the following important objectives:

1. To expand the NAC to provide additional facilities for technical training and conferences;
2. To ensure better Continuity of Operations nationwide under a Columbia-based COOP (Continuity of Operations Plan);
3. To establish a litigation support service center at the NAC; and
4. To reduce operating costs.
