PASTOR GUILTY ON FIFTY-FOUR OF FIFTY-SIX COUNTS
United States Attorney Maxwell Wood, Middle District of Georgia, announces the guilty verdict reached today after a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Middle District
of Georgia against ONSLOW ROSS, age 37, resident of Macon, Georgia. ROSS served as
Pastor of Reaching Soul Cathedral of Praise located at 5555 Bethesda Avenue, Macon, Georgia.
The jury verdict is as follows:
Guilty on Counts One and Two;
Not Guilty Count Three - (Engaging In Monetary Transactions In Property Derived From
Specified Unlawful Activity (1 8 U.S.C. § 1957);
Guilty Counts Four through Forty-Two;
Not Guilty Counts Forty-Three (Laundering of Monetary Instruments (1 8 U. S .C. §1956(a)(l)(B)(I);
Guilty Counts Forty-Four through Fifty-Six;
Counts Fifty-Seven and Fifty Eight - (Forfeiture) Funds will be returned to Ross' Grandmother
instead of the Government.
The case was investigated by Agents of the Internal Revenue Service Criminal
Investigations, Macon, Georgia. Assistant United States Attorney George Christian prosecuted
the case. Sentencing will be scheduled at a date set by the Court.
