PRESS ADVISORY - FREE YOUTH SKATE NIGHT TO BE HELD
On Friday March 21st, the United States Attorney’s Office’s Project Safe Neighborhoods Anti-Gang Task Force, the Macon Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Bibb County Board Of Education will co-sponsor a FREE Youth Night from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Olympia Family Fun Center, 5020 Mercer University Drive.
Our goal is to provide educational tools and positive role models to the youth to enable them to resist gangs and violence. Our message to young people is:
“Many of us have been in the same situations as you and understand what you are facing. Please stop and think; we must find a better way. Please join us today and help us reduce gangs and violence!”
