PASTOR SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON

United States Attorney Maxwell Wood, Middle District of Georgia, announces the sentencing of ONSLOW ROSS, age 37, resident of Macon, Georgia after a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.  Ross served as Pastor of Reaching Soul Cathedral of Praise located at 5555 Bethesda Avenue, Macon, Georgia.

Ross received a sentence of 130 months imprisonment on Count One.

Ross received a sentenced of 120 months on each on the remaining Counts as follows to run concurrent with Count One for a total of 130 months to serve and was taken into custody:

Counts Two and Counts Four through Ten;

Counts Eleven through Forty-Two;

Counts Forty-Four through Fifty-Six;

Five years supervised release;

The Court ordered a $5,400.00 Mandatory Assessment Fee.

The case was investigated by Agents of  the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigations, Macon, Georgia.  Assistant United States Attorney George Christian prosecuted the case.
