Advances in technology over the past two decades have brought about new challenges for parents, educators, and law enforcement. As a result, the United States Department of Justice launched Project Safe Childhood (PSC) in 2006 to combat the proliferation of technology-facilitated sexual exploitation crimes against children.

Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) is a nationwide commitment to reduce gun crime in America by networking existing local programs that target gun crime and providing those programs with additional tools necessary to be successful.

The goal of the victim witness assistance program in the United States Attorney's Office is to ensure that victims of federal crime are treated with fairness and respect, and receive the services to which they are entitled. A variety of notifcation and assistance services are available.
