Erin Kissinger Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine

Davenport, IA - On January 29, 2008, Erin Kathleen Kissinger, 42, of Oakville, Iowa, pleaded guilty to one count of an indictment charging her with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, announced United States Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. The charges are part of a two count indictment.


The possible penalties for conviction on the charge include up to life imprisonment for the conspiracy charge. Kissinger also faces fines of up to $4,000,000, and at least 5 years of supervised release for her conviction. Sentencing of Kissinger will be held at a later date.
This case has been investigated by the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, the Muscatine County Drug Task Force, the Louisa-Washington Counties Drug Task Force, and the Iowa State Patrol. Also assisting at the scene of the methamphetamine lab was the Oakville Volunteer Fire Department, and the Muscatine Fire Department Hazardous Materials Team.


The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Iowa, The Davenport Division, is prosecuting the case.
