Omaha Resident Sentenced To Fourteen Years For Distributing Methamphetamine

Des Moines, IA - On March 21, 2008, FRANK L. HARDMAN of Council Bluffs, Iowa, was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine in Western Iowa, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. United States District Court Judge James Gritzner also ordered Hardman to serve an eight year term of supervised release following incarceration and ordered him to pay an assessment of $100 to the Crime Victim Fund.


Hardman entered a guilty plea to conspiring with DiANNA DEE CRUZ to distributing methamphetamine between December of 2006 and February 6, 2007 in Western Iowa. Hardman and Cruz distributed methamphetamine received from Mexico through Omaha into Western Iowa. DiANNA DEE CRUZ was sentenced on February 25, 2008 to 60 months in prison.


The investigation was conducted by the SWINE Task Force, Omaha Nebraska Police Department, Council Bluffs Police Department and the Pottawattamie County Attorney’s Office.
