Davenport Man Sentenced to Prison for Drug Trafficking

Davenport, IA- Today, Juan Francisco Pizano, age 27 of Davenport, was sentenced to 150 months imprisonment, announced United States Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. United States District Judge John A. Jarvey also sentenced Pizano to serve eight years on supervised release following completion of his prison sentence. Pizano was also ordered to pay an assessment of $100 to the Crime Victim Fund.


Pizano, a former member of the Lowriders street gang, was involved in trafficking of marijuana and cocaine in the Quad Cities area since 1999.


This case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa and investigated by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation Gang Task Force, Davenport Police Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and Muscatine Drug Task Force.
