BETTENDORF MAN SENTENCED ON FEDERAL CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES
DAVENPORT- On September 25, 2009, Evan Bryant Burich, age 22, formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa was sentenced for possession of child pornography to 96 months in prison by United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. Burich will also be required to spend ten years on supervised release following any period of incarceration. In December 2007, state agents searched Burich’s residence and seized a computer. This computer was found to contain video images of child pornography. Burich pled guilty on June 17, 2009.
This case was prosecuted in the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Iowa. This investigation was conducted by the Davenport Police Department.
