UNITED STATES V. ROBERT SCOTT McCLISH

An indictment was filed against Robert Scott McClish on March 25, 2008, charging him with possession of 800 pieces of stolen mail taken from a mail truck on or about February 10, 2008. This was in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1708.
On June 6, 2008, the Defendant, Robert McClish, pled guilty to the charge and is currently awaiting sentencing.
The United States Probation Office (USPO), is conducting a pre-sentence investigation regarding the background of Robert McClish. After this investigation, USPO submits a report to the court which is used to assist the court with sentencing.
Once a sentencing date has been set, it will be posted on this web site. The sentencing will be held at the United States District Courthouse, 123 East Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309. In addition, the Court will make a restitution determination within 90 days after that sentencing date.
