TWIN FALLS MAN SENTENCED FOR GUN CRIMEJoshua Holman, 28, of Twin Falls, Idaho, was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for unlawful possession of a firearm, U.S. Attorney Tom Moss announced. Holman pled guilty to the charge in January 2009. Chief U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill also ordered Holman to serve three years of supervised release after he completes his prison term and to pay a $300 fine. Holman was found to be in possession of a semi-automatic pistol after he had been previously convicted of six felony offenses in the past ten years. Holman’s case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. His prosecution was part of Idaho’s Project Safe Neighborhoods Program, which seeks to reduce gun violence in Idaho. |
