National Crime Victims' Rights Week

Hoyleton Ministries and Rescue & Restore of Southwestern Illinois will be hosting a FREE 5K Glow Run, a resource fair, and a candle light vigil in honor of National Crime Victims' Rights Week 2014. The week is honored each year by community agencies across the nation to promote crime victims' rights and advocacy.

The theme of this year's National Crime Victims' Rights Week is "30 years: Restoring the Balance of Justice." Join us at Our Lady of the Snows National Shrine in Belleville at 7 pm in the amphitheater for the victims vigil and at 8 pm for the "Restoring the Balance of Justice Run" on Fri, April 11 as we educate the surrounding communities while honoring those who have experienced and been impacted by any crime. Benjamin Disraeli once said "Justice is truth in action." Let this be your chance to shed light on the experiences of crime victims and survivors and your opportunity to take action.
