| SUPPLEMENTAL MEDIA ADVISORY |
On December 10, 2010, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, Stephen R. Wigginton, announced that on Monday, December 13, 2010, he will be initiating a major law enforcement action in open court related to so called “extended warranties” for automobiles. This supplement is being released because while the original advisory stated that cameras and recording equipment would not be permitted inside the courthouse, because of expected cold and inclement weather, the U.S. District Court has agreed to permit cameras and recording equipment in the Jury Assembly Room accessible from the South Entrance, 750 Missouri Avenue, East St. Louis, Illinois. The cameras and recording equipment can be used for interviews after the hearing but will be not be permitted elsewhere within the court house.
