
ALTON MAN CONVICTED FOR DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE BASE
An Alton man was convicted by a jury of Distribution of Cocaine Base, on April 6, 2011, after a two-day jury trial. Stephen R. Wigginton, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced today that Donald W. Clark, 51, of Alton, Ill.-, who was charged in the one count Indictment on, January 21, 2011, now faces a federal prison term of up to 30 years imprisonment, a fine of up to $1,000,000, and at least 5 years supervised release as a result of the jury’s verdict. Sentencing is set for July 22, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., at the United States District Court, East St. Louis, Ill., before Judge Michael J. Reagan.
