
Centreville Man Indicted on Cocaine Offense
Antonio L. White, 30, of Centreville, Illinois, was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury sitting in East St. Louis, on April 17, 2012, and charged with one count of Possession With the Intent to Distribute Cocaine, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, Stephen R. Wigginton, announced today. If convicted, White faces a maximum sentence of twenty (20) years imprisonment, a fine of up to $1,000,000, and at least three years of supervised release.
All Defendants are presumed to be innocent of all charges in an indictment and are entitled to a fair trial at which the Government must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
Evidence in support of the indictment was obtained in an investigation by the South Central Illinois Drug Task Force (SCIDTF) and the Alton Police Department. This case has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Randy G. Massey for prosecution.
