
Olney IL Man Sentenced on Methamphetamine Related Charges
Jason S. Banker, 34, of Olney, IL, was sentenced to federal prison on drug charges, Stephen R. Wigginton, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced today. Banker was sentenced to 95 months imprisonment, four years supervised release following his imprisonment, and fined $200.
Banker had previously pleaded guilty to a one count federal indictment. Count 1 charged that from June 2010, until on or about August 22, 2011, in Richland County, Banker conspired to manufacture more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
The investigation was conducted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
The case is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney George Norwood.
