
Alton Man Sentenced for Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine

Tyrone Lucas, 51, from Alton, IL, was sentenced on January 19, 2012, in District Court in East St. Louis, IL, on one count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, Stephen R. Wigginton, announced today.
Lucas was sentenced to 63 months in prison, 4 years of supervised release, fined $200, and ordered to pay a $100 special assessment. Lucas had previously pled guilty to the charge.
The investigation was conducted by the Alton Police Department.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Donald S. Boyce.
