The following training opportunities, unless noted, are for full-time law enforcement officials. Please note most courses offer FREE registration however, any other costs associated with attending (i.e. any travel, lodging, perdiem, parking, etc) are the responsibility of the agency or the officer attending.

Human/Child Sex Trafficking Investigations in Valparaiso, Indiana on May 8-9, 2014
The Highland Police Department and Valparaiso University Police Department, in coordination with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana announce the training, Child Sex Trafficking: Law Enforcement Response.   The Fox Valley Technical College’s Ask Amber Program will provide the training on May 8th .  This portion of the training is open to law enforcement, human trafficking task force members, social service providers, prosecutors and NPO/NGOs.   A second day of related training will be provided on May 9, 2014, for law enforcement and prosecutors only and presentations are focused on conducting local investigations into human trafficking/child sex trafficking.
