PRESS RELEASE

                                                            DEFENDANT SENTENCED

    GEORGE MOON sentenced by United States District Court Judge Rudy Lozano November 21, 2005, to 190 months imprisonment and 5 years supervised release. MOON, age 62, was convicted at jury trial of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and related charges in February 2005.

    The District Court also ordered the forfeiture of over $75,000 in currency which was seized during the investigation.

    Co-defendant Anthony Alexander, who was also convicted during the February trial, awaits sentence.

    This case was investigated by the DEA/HIDTA and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Dan L. Bella and David Nozick.
