PRESS RELEASE

The United States Attorney's Office announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Fort Wayne, Indiana, returned the following Indictment:

EMMANUEL TERRELL STACY, age 21, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances and distribution of controlled substances; as well as possession of a firearm in furtherance of and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime. The Indictment seeks the forfeiture of a firearm and ammunition. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Fort Wayne Police Department. This case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tina L. Nommay, who can be reached at 260-422-2595 for any inquiries.

The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

The United States Attorney's Office emphasized that an Indictment is merely an allegation and that all persons charged are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
