FEDERAL GRAND JURY IN FORT WAYNE RETURNS INDICTMENTS

Fort Wayne, IN—The United States Attorney's Office announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Fort Wayne, Indiana, returned the following Indictments on May 24, 2007:

KELTON D. ANDERSON, age 21, of Fort Wayne, Indiana is charged in a three count Indictment with distribution of a controlled substance, carrying a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, and being a felon in possession of a firearm, all occurring on May 6, 2007. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Fort Wayne Police Department. This case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tina L. Nommay, who can be reached at 260-422-2595 for any inquiries.

JIMMY LAMONT SEWELL, age 33, of Fort Wayne, Indiana is charged in a five count Indictment with three counts of distribution of controlled substances on April 18, 23, and 30, a count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance on May 3, 2007 and a count of maintaining a drug-involved premises on April 12, 2007. LASUNDRALA RENEE SEWELL, (aka Lasundrala Renee Maydwell), age 33, of Fort Wayne, Indiana is charged in counts 4 and 5 of a five count Indictment with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance on May 3, 2007 and a count of maintaining a drug-involved premises on April 12, 2007. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Fort Wayne Police Department. This case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony W. Geller, who can be reached at 260-422-2595 for any inquiries.

JUSTIN L. STUCKEY, age 34, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is charged in a five count Indictment with wire fraud on April 17, 2002 through June 21, 2002. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lesley Miller Lowery, who can be reached at 260-422-2595 for any inquiries.

The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. The United States Attorney's Office emphasized that an Indictment is merely an allegation and that all persons charged are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
