Fort Wayne, IN—The United States Attorney's Office announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Fort Wayne, Indiana, returned the following Indictment on November 28, 2007:
DOMINIQUE O. THOMAS, age 19, of Fort Wayne, Indiana is charged in a two count Indictment with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and carrying a firearm in relation to a drug offense on November 8, 2007. The Indictment also seeks the forfeiture of a firearm and ammunition. This charge was filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives and the Fort Wayne Police Department. This case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert N. Trgovich, who can be reached at 260-422-2595 for any inquiries.
The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
The United States Attorney's Office emphasized that an Indictment is merely an allegation and that all persons charged are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
