Fort Wayne, IN—The United States Attorney's Office announced that it filed an Information on January 7, 2008:
VICKIE L. HERNANDEZ, age 54, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was charged in a single count Information with Misappropriation of Postal Funds from on or about August 15, 2007 and continuing until on or about August 24, 2007. This charge was filed as the result of an investigation by the United States Postal Inspection Service. This case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lovita Morris King, who can be reached at 260-4222595 for any inquiries.
The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
