ACTIVITY IN FEDERAL COURT - FORT WAYNE

Fort Wayne, IN—The United States Attorney's Office announced:

Jovan Michael Brookshire, 30, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, plead guilty on 1/29/10 before Judge Theresa Springmann to possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, and to possession of a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Upon conviction, Brookshire will forfeit approximately $26,525.00 in U.S. Currency; a Taurus, 9mm pistol; and three magazines and ammunition. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco, and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the United States Marshals Serive, and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tina Nommay.
