FEDERAL GRAND JURY IN FORT WAYNE RETURNS INDICTMENT
Fort Wayne, IN—The United States Attorney's Office announced that a Grand Jury sitting in Fort Wayne, Indiana, returned the following Indictment on April 28, 2010:
Erik A. Holley, 25, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is charged in a single count Indictment with being a felon in possession of a firearm on or about March 20, 2010. This charge was filed as the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Fort Wayne Police Department. The Indictment also seeks the forfeiture of a firearm and ammunition. This case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert N. Trgovich.
The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
The United States Attorney's Office emphasized that an Indictment is merely an allegation and that all persons charged are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
