ACTIVITY IN FEDERAL COURT - FORT WAYNE

Fort Wayne, IN—The United States Attorney's Office announced the following activity in federal court:

Tony L. Rice, 29, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, plead guilty on 3/11/10 before Judge Theresa Springmann to possession with the intent to distribute “crack” cocaine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Fort Wayne Police Department, and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony Geller.

The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
